Allison Kendrick, MD, MA, is a board-certified internal medicine and medical marijuana physician who has dedicated 15 years to formal education in psychology, neuroscience, and medicine. She provides her patients with an integrative approach to medicine at her practice, Compassionate Telemedicine. Dr. Kendrick received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Columbia University’s Barnard College, located in Manhattan in New York City. She earned her master’s in neuroscience from the University of California. Los Angeles (UCLA), and then returned to Columbia University to earn her Certificate of Premedical Sciences. 

Later, Dr. Kendrick earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Brown University, located in Providence, Rhode Island. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Kendrick prides herself on her willingness to include new approaches to medicine, part of her continuing effort to provide the best in compassionate and comprehensive care. 

She is a holistic healing expert who prescribes alternative medicine such as marijuana, cannabidiol (CBD), and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Dr. Kendrick is also one of only 40 physicians in Texas legally authorized to prescribe low-dose (THC). She’s also licensed to prescribe medical cannabis for patients in New York via telemedicine.
